Offsite Ideation Headquarters

The Property

The Deschutes Pine Building was designed from scratch in 1976 as a work hard/play hard ethic for three lumber men from Bend. One of the founders, a US Ski Team member, directed architect Don Goodhue to eschew cubicles for open spaces and to include saunas, lockers and showers to help embrace exercise as part of a day at the office and squeeze in a few runs on Mt. Bachelor before work. The Brookswood building brings that vision and culture into the 21st Century with fiber-connected WiFi, seven screens, six beer taps and three fire pits.

our culture

Brookswood’s two founders are both former Nike executives with six decades of  best practices from some of the world’s most respected brands that also follow the work hard/play hard ethos, having designed and led experiential offsites, retreats and seminars in more than 30 countries. Brookswood is the culmination of those experiences brought to one of the greatest small towns in America.
