Spaces

The Bullpen

Boardroom. Classroom. Breakouts.

The largest room at Brookswood is 1,000 square feet beneath high vaulted beams and floor-to-ceiling doors and windows, bathed in natural light, and flanked by two cantilevered decks. An 85” 4k screen with fiber-connected video conferencing software anchors this room. The building’s Control4 system integrates every electronic function in each Brookswood space, including individually powered blinds in the Bullpen for presentation lighting. The Bullpen can be configured for board meetings, seminars, classroom settings and small team retreats.

the hayward room

A small room that packs a punch

Adjacent to the Bullpen is the Hayward conference room. Named for Oregon’s legendary track coach, this 11’ x 17’ room is ideal for breakouts, support teams, or private video or audio conference sessions.

The Hayward Room can also serve as a lounge for those in the queue or just needing a break.

The vault

A quiet refuge or a global connection hub

Originally secured by an 800-pound bank vault door for secrets unknown, this room retains its name as a quiet refuge or for global links through twin 55” 4k screens with video conferencing capabilities. Take a seat in one of the leather chairs, rest your feet on a 300-year-old Cedar stump to make a call or create a podcast.

the fireplace room

The heart and hearth of the building

Assemble your team, grab your coffee and plan the day in front of the lava rock fireplace. Brookswood is defined by the warmth and diversity of its spaces. Nowhere is that more present than here where you can grab a few quiet moments or hold a breakout session. At the end of the day, put another log on the fire and move the conversation to the shuffleboard table for some friendly competition.

the bowerman room

For breakouts or brain breaks

Downstairs next to the fireplace and opposite Pre’s Cafe is a conference room named after three-time Olympic track coach and Nike Co-Founder Bill Bowerman. This 11’x 17’ conference room also has full video capabilities and is ideal for groups of 8-10 or as a separate dining area. Double French doors open to the patio for fresh air or a quick trail walk along the river.

Pre's Cafe

Where play meets work

Named after Steve Prefontaine, one of America's greatest distance runners, Olympian and one of Nike’s first sponsored athletes, Pre's Cafe is the gathering place for team meals and snacks throughout the day. Take a seat at a natural edge juniper table, one of the granite counters, or plug into the window bar for a morning coffee or something stronger at the end of the day.

the kitchen

For catered excellence

Brookswood's professional kitchen provides the perfect work station for catered meals to refuel your team for the next meeting or just unwind at the end of the day.

Together with Pre's Cafe, our caterers enjoy access to five dishwashers, five warming drawers, four sinks and a commercial espresso machine.

lockers/saunas/showers

Work. Play. Rinse. Repeat.

Separate men’s and women’s showers, lockers and saunas with heated floors remind everyone to mix a little play with work.

Winter sports and some of the best mountain biking trails are minutes away. Or take a five minute walk to the Deschutes River for hiking, fly fishing, paddle boarding, rafting or kayaking.

our fire pits

Because some of the best ideas don't happen inside

Grab a beverage and take a seat by one of our three fire pits to share the really big ideas that may have eluded you earlier in the day, or just take a moment to breathe deep, watch the sun set and reflect under the stars with your team.
